Purchased this collector’s edition as I have for mannnnnny films over the years from Zavvi. Really disappointed that the ‘collector’s’ edition doesn’t even have the steel book? And the cardboard outer packaging really is not good enough for the price. Bit disappointed with this one unfortunately.
The film is fantastic - no qualms there - but, as "Limited Collector's Edition's" go, this is seriously low-effort and smacks of a cash grab. For forty quid, this should have been the steelbook - NOT the standard case and the box should have been thicker. The badge is tiny, The Continental keycard should have been plastic and the art cards are adequate. Get the steelbook by itself instead...
Was disappointed that the continental key card was floppy. Thought it would be an actual key card. Also, the art pictures are nice, but you can't frame them all due to the characters being back to front. The pin is nice but very small. Overall, I think just getting the movie is better value for money.
You get to enjoy the 4k and UHD quality of this amazing movie. However, this is not a steelbook and all the goodies included are of a poor quality.
It's ok, nothing special All the reviews blaming zavvi for this collectors edition lol, it Not a zavvi exclusive, it doesn't even state that's its a zavvi exclusive If you want some extra content like art cards ect.. them this is for you Personally I prefer the steelbook
I always had mixed feelings toward the Wick films as a series. For the longest time, I thought the first film to be perfect in its simplicity, with all the glimpses into the world of these assassins in later films robbing us too much of the weirdness and mysteriousness of this world. then something strange and unexpected happened: Chapters 2 and 3 grew on me upon re-watch before seeing Chapter 4. I finally enjoyed being in that world instead of getting only hints about it. Chapter 4 is the perfect ending to that series, going as broad as it does, being as silly as it is in parts. I absolutely love this film. As for the edition: It's fine. It's not the Steelbook that is included, and the material of the packaging and the trinkets isn't exactly top of the line. Aside from that, it's a solid edition of a fantastic film.
I love the John Wick films and couldn't miss out on this great edition. Come with all the xtra goodies which for one im go take the character pictures you get and display them on the wall . Thanks zavvi
I've collected all the john wick films to date, and this is the one that let's me down. First, the box it came in was just thin cardboard and very flimsy, second the film itself most people thought it was coming as a steelbook and not the bog standard plastic box, third. The continental membership card was thin bendy plastic, again flimsy. Fourth, the art card's are thin cardboard with the pictures on both sides instead of having 12 separate art cards. Fifth, the pin badge is OK, and finally sixth, a map of Paris? They should of took notice of how they did John wick 3 collectors edition (which I own) and is vastly superior to this. For what you pay for this it's definitely not worth the money. Buy the steelbook instead (I wish I did).
A must have for John Wick lovers! This collection is so incredible that I have framed the art cards on my wall! Thank you Zavvi!
