Mad Max (1979)
Mel Gibson portrays Max Rockatansky, a fearless cop waging war with kill-crazy bikers who targeted his family. It's a war that must be seen to be believed, a road-scorching, neo-punk, take-no-prisoner combat set in a postapocalyptic Australia.
Contains a bonus DVD disc 'The Madness of Max', behind-the-scenes making od the film that started it all.
The Road Warrior (1981)
Few films compare with this full-throttle epic of speed and carnage that rockets you into a dreamlike landscape where the post-nuclear future meets the mythological past. Gibson returns as a heroic loner Max, who drives the roads of outback Australia in an unending search for gasoline. Arrayed against him and the other scraggly defenders of a fuel-depot encampment are the bizarre warriors commanded by The Humungus.
Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985)
Two men enter. One man leaves. That's the law in Bartertown's Thunderdome arena. In his third go-round as the title hero Gibson takes on the barbarians of the post-nuclear future – and this time becomes the saviour of a tribe of lost children. Music superstar Tine Turner steals what's left of the screen as Aunty Entity, a power-mad dominatrix determined to use Max to tighten her stranglehold on Bartertown.
Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)
Haunted by his turbulent past, Max (Tom Hardy) wanders alone until he's swept up with a group, led by Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron), fleeing across the Wasteland. In hot pursuit: a warlord who gathers his gang and pursues the rebels ruthlessly, leading to a high-octane road war in director George Miller's return to the world of Mad Max.

Mad Max 4k steelbook collection
I picked this amazing boxset up at 50% off during a Zavvi clearance, and wow, what a bargain! Beautiful artwork on each steelbook and the outer steelcase which houses them. Each film has a faultless 4k transfer, and the sound quality on each film is crisp. I highly recommend this boxset for all movie collectors or fans of these films.

The bright colours of the Steelbooks are a little odd considering they're set in a violent post apocalyptic world but regardless, it's still a gorgeous looking set all housed in a solid tin case. The films themselves all look great in 4K plus you get the Black & Chrome edition of Fury Road too!

Brilliant edition of the complete Mad Max Franchise. The new 4K version of the films really pop off the screen but saying that the Blu-ray restorations are still holding up well and are as crisp as you need them to be. The steelbooks look amazing and came well packaged. Well done Zavvi 👍

Very nice set and very nice case to protect the movies - if you have the Godzilla King Kong set - then you will know how cool and good the case is to protect these - the artwork on the case is awesome... The Transfer to 4K is nice and crisp and the sound is great. Have to admit I do love the box sets like this that come with their own case... It also make it easy to remove and slot back into place again. I also love the fact they have added Fury road to the Box set as much as I love the trilogy itself - I do love Fury Road - Hardy & Theron are class. Individual Steelbook Colours too... with a cool quote from that movie... What's even better is that they come with the Blu Ray Discs too - The reason I say better is simply because I didn't have these on Blu Ray - Until now that is.

Oh what a lovely day indeed opening this beast and spending the next few days revisiting these four classics. Fantastic steelbooks with themed artwork that runs through the series, the designs are beautiful, the films themselves are consistently great. Came with no damage and arobust design, the box/case itself houses the steelbooks safely and easy access to take in and put back with minimal fuss. Absolutely worth the discounted price I managed to snag it at with The Matrix set. Top job.

Amazing! when you have it in your hands you realize that it is worth every penny paid for it. finishes of the tin case and steelbook are just great. Maybe I would have considered a new artwork not the black and the blue of regular blurays.

This is a great set with a metal case that protects the steelbooks quite well (similar to LOTR and Matrix Collection). Needless to write about the movies. Get it as long as it is still available - now even on discount.

Amazing product. Was happy with the way the 4k transfer looks and the way the steelbooks are designed. The case in it self which houses the steelbooks is made out of real quality too. Nothing cheap about this set. Well worth it!
