I was concerned this live-action version of Aladdin wouldn't live up to Disney's 1992 animated classic, but happily I found it to be both faithful and fresh enough to feel worthwhile. The beautiful steelbook has lovely debossing on the front, giving the impression of a raised title and magical lamp and rock. Unfortunately the first copy I first received had a mis-printed cover meaning the debossing and image weren't aligned properly - but Zavvi quickly refunded me after I returned it and I re-ordered another copy which arrived in perfect condition. The 4K UHD disc looks and sounds great - it's a colourful, detailed film with powerful music. I would recommend this steelbook to anyone who enjoyed the film, or thinks they might do.
