Maybe the best sci fi ever made. Picture quality is as expected, a good enough upgrade from the 1080p blu ray, some scenes look fantastic, others a tad soft. I'd probably give it 3.5 /5. Shocking that no atmos. /dts ☓ and also no digital download included (as is the way now in the UK) The Steelbook itself is very nice, great job imo. Definitely worth a double dip for a fan of the franchise.

Beautiful steelbook and what a brilliant picture in 4K. This stunning steelbook is the icing on the cake. Great job Zavvi. Looking forward to Aliens getting the same 4K steelbook treatment.

The steelbook itself is pretty nice but that’s it, no art cards like the standard release which is disappointing and no new extras.

I ve got the blu ray version of this movie, but the 4K steelbook and the directors version of alien seduced me to buy this one, no regrets , a good price , Superb steelbook and excellent movie, collectors you have to have this

Great Movie and Great 4K Transfer. A Must get especially for Steelbook Collectors. The Steelbook looks great with great Art Work and quality.

One of my all time favourite films and a groundbreaking classic of the sci-fi genre. I’ve watched this movie now in all formats (even Betamax video!) but this 4K version hits the pinnacle of quality and breathes new life into a 40 year old movie. The steelbook is superb and a perfect addition to my collection

The steelbook is pretty nice but nothing amazing. I only bought it because the regular 4K artwork is even more hideous. I know Zavvi don't get to choose the artwork but is it really that hard to just give us a steelbook with the original poster art on? The 4K transfer is stunning btw and the movie is a classic, but you all already knew that ;-)

Probably my favourite horror film of all time, I was s eptical about a 40 year old film being upgraded to 4k, but, i was pleasantly surprised. Brilliant deep black space scenes and the 'Alien' itself looks remarkable. There are a few scenes with slight pixelation but not enough to spoil the film, it took me back 40 years to when I was 8 years old and I did feel the same fright again. Shame the audio wasn't upgraded to DTS X or Atmos, but, my AV Receiver does a good job of using all my speakers. This is a brilliant addition to my 4k collection.

My favourite movie in 4k, was sent out right away and received really qick and packaged well as always.
