Black Sails
Lovely looking box set in two steel box in a cardboard sleeve but the show itself is amazing, a mix of real life characters and locations with added Treasure Island characters. Beautiful scenery and a brilliant story. One of the best TV shows ever. Saw it on TV but now rewatching it all again on Blu ray & it looks & sounds amazing.

Game of Thrones with pirates
Not just the best TV series about pirates but one of the best series period. With a mixture of historical and fictional characters, Black Sails is set in the Caribbean port of Nassau. Describing it as GoT with pirates is probably a bit simplistic because it’s not some sleazy knock off, it’s very well written, made and acted. A really good series, definitely very highly recommended. Oh and it has probably the best title sequence of the last 10 years.

Great show and steelbook. Poor packaging...
The show itself is great, I just wish this collection was packaged better. There are two slim steelbook cases, with the dreaded solution of the discs being stacked on top of each other. Two of the discs were loose inside, but luckily not scratched up. The covers are housed in a simple, thin cardboard box, with a thin layer of plastic over the entire box and not the steelbooks themselves. Unfortunately, there's nothing protecting the two steelbooks from rubbing against each other during transport, causing noticeable scratches to the otherwise splendid covers. This is really baffling to me. A foam insert should have been used here, or at the very least some plastic wrapped around each steelbook. Not collector friendly at all.

incredible!
I brought this in the sale because I could have never of warranted the price otherwise, and it is my favourite show! This steel book is absolutely incredible, the art is so gorgeous on it, with two different designs, which you could reverse, and even the discs are pretty! I wish I could give it more than 5* because I was just so happy with this!

Treasure ahoy !
The Steelbook version of the complete Black sails season 1-4 is fantastic !! There is a beautifully painted steel case with artwork inside and out with a clear plastic protective sleeve with graphics on to enhance the box . there are lots of blu ray exclusive extras which are very interesting . The show itself is out standing and gives life to the factually based history of the Caribbean marauding sea-farers . I would recommend this wholeheartedly as it has become one of my all time favourite shows .

There is no season 5! It only ran for four seasons before cancellation. Great series. Stopped too early in run.

Black sails complete steel book collection
Overall the steels are fantastic its the outer sleeve which ruined it a bit for me. Very low quality plastic looks like an after thought. Could have done a far better box
