True piece of film history
Most of Borowczyk's work can be categorized as controversial at the time it was made, but his work is essential viewing for all film lovers and anyone interested in the history of the film. I would especially recommend disc with short films and his earlier work where a lot of animation was used. Arrow, once again, did an amazing work with this box set, with excellent transfers and restorations of the films, a very nice presentation, and packaging. There is a nice selection of bonus features on every disc, as usual for any Arrow release.

Bewildering art!
I'm stunned by the fact, that the art of Walerian Borowczyk is still much more acknowledged and celebrated across the Polish border. The quality of this box is beyond my abilities to explain what I mean. Amazing box of wonders - special features giving you a unique possibility to get truly immersed in the world of Boro. Interviews, documentaries, behind the scenes footage, reversable covers of blu ray boxes - such simple things, but how amazingly executed! Also, the price is really appropriate for this kind of experience - even though it does not contain the booklet, that was only in the Limited Edition, but still a very enjoyable purchase. The delivery was faster than expected, no problems tracking the package through Europe, came just after Christmas, while dispatched on 18th of December. Thank you, Zavvi, for this.
