5 stars for the actual product and quality of the items. However I felt that spending double the amount of a normal steelbook for the items received was a little too much. Overall it's a great addition to my steelbook collection, however, I won't be going out of my way to buy another one for the price I paid for this one.
This would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the packaging that the product came in. The sticky gum that holds the j-card on actually damages this type of material. It took me several minutes to clean the gum off of the "Press Here" button and the 3 other location just had dimple or wrinkle marks where the sticky stuff was. Lastly, one of the art cards was damaged from what looked like a hurry-up job of packaging. The products themselves are of high quality and it is very impressive to see the slip-case light up. I especially love that I can change the batteries out later on, and the light-up case can be used over and over, instead of a gimmick that lasts until the batteries die. Well done!
A good quality first Collector's Edition for Zavvi which stands out beyond just the steelbook disc packaging with a unique light up case & additions (pins & postcards), especially as the 3D edition of Captain Marvel is not commonly available. If you're a collector it's worthwhile picking these up, hopefully there will be a move to issue movie boxsets (like say, the Avengers 1-4) which would do well as a collection. As 3dbob mentions, care needs to be taken to remove the outer slipsheet as the glue is quite sticky (needs to be done to get to the battery compartment); apart from that there's some marking/scuffs from handling/packaging that can be resolved in future releases - congratulations to Zavvi for their first release!
