Exemplary blu-ray set

More wonderful noir releases from Indicator - Murder By Contract in particular is a treat. Great extras too, especially the Fiore commentary on Tight Spot.

Six amazing pieces of noir cinema

What can I say other than this is a fantastic collection. Indicator have put together a second batch of amazing noir films to sink your teeth into - and after risking getting the first boxset not fully knowing if I was going to vibe well with these older noir movies but being blown away by how much I liked them - I was super excited to pick up this collection too. Each film has its unique charms from philosophical themes to minimalist scores but they all encapsulate the aesthetic of noir cinema. ‘Murder by Contract’ and ‘Affair in Trinidad’ are my personal favourites from this set, up there with ‘Escape in the Fog’ from the first volume, which you should also consider picking up (go for it, you can pay via instalments which is very forgiving on the wallet). Looking forward to getting volume 3 and I hope indicator are able to get ‘Cry of the City’ for volume 4! Praise also goes to Zavvi, the product was dispatched and arrived very quickly, and for someone who is too accustomed to one-day shipping this was a huge bonus. It arrived well wrapped and perfect condition.

Another good set

Although I think the first set had done better transfers and special features this is still a very good set.
