The Dune I was waiting for since I was 8 years old and never thought I would actually see. Believe the hype, believe the praise it is stunning visually in every aspect. Framing, editing, composition, then add on a haunting and brilliant soundtrack, and then, add on a compelling story of revenge, betrayal, destiny, and love. I feared to hope this would deliver as per the trailer, but it really does. It had big boots to fill by way of the Herbert books, but fill them it does. You do not need to be a Dune enthusiast to love this movie (although it is like being a kid in a candy shop) you just have to love cinema. The perfect Director (Villneuve) , with the perfect cast, with the perfect source material. This is a film made by a fan and it shows in the best possible way. Definitely in my top 3 movies of ALL time (and I don't say that lightly). Can barely wait for part 2.

Brilliant movie and great service replacing first faulty item with no fuss the only problem is I'm going to have to wait so long for part two judging from this one it will be well worth the wait

Excellent service from zavvi, always get notified when shipped, and always receive 2 days before initial release, Dune is a magnificent film, well made, well directed, and superbly casted, I highly recommend getting this film.

I fist saw this on the big screen, but seeing it again on my large Tv , if as lost nothing of its impact. Complexed pot, but well worth concentrating on, the effects are outstanding. Good cast. 10 out of 10

I lived this remake of the old classic. The action the special effects just bring this classic to life and I can't wait for the next part to be released.
