In the year 2154, two classes of people exist: the very wealthy, who liv on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, who live n an overpopulated, ruined Earth. Secretary Delacourt (Jodie Foster) will stop at nothing to preserve the luxurious lifestyle of the citizens of Elysium - but that doesn't stop the people of Earth from trying to get in by any means they can. Max (Matt Demon) agrees to take on a life threatening mission, one that could bring equality to these polarised worlds.

First time watch
For some time I've been wanting to see this movie so I finally ordered it on 4k and I wasn't disappointed, a very original story which drew me in from the start, I enjoyed every direction this movie took me in and found it very very refreshing to see such an original story from a good director (only wish that he had the opportunity to make his vision of what could of been a great alien film) the 4k picture and effects were pleasing to the eye and the sound quality was spot on, a great addition to my collection
