Best film ever made.

First off I should tell you that I've watched this film more times than any ever film. More than Star Wars. More than Aliens. More than Gremlins. More than Ghostbusters. And I love those films. But Evil Dead 2 is practically perfect in every way. The steel book is one of the best I've seen too... but there's no point in me describing it because there's a picture right over there. Look at it and tell me it's not a groovy steelbook.

After the original "Evil Dead" was released as a steelbook, it was a no brainer to get "Evil Dead II" as well! The price was AMAZING when I bought it, which doubles the pleasure! It´s a great steelbook and a nice addition to the collection. Now all we need is a "Army of Darkness" steelbook - Zavvi, work your magic! :)

When the original Evil Dead film was released on steelbook blu-ray I was a little sceptical as to what to expect in terms of quality transfer or packaging. I was however very impressed by it, which is why I was thrilled to discover that Zavvi has produced an exclusive Evil Dead 2 steelbook blu-ray. The package is very attractive and eye catching. The blu-ray transfer is also exceptional quality compare to previous releases. The extra features present on the discs are fantastic and I would highly recommend for fans of the film or for anyone considering it.

I love Evil Dead and I love steel books. When I saw this on Zavvi for such an amazing low price it was a total no brainer! It arrived quick in excellent condition and now I have 10 different copies of this amazing film! Anyone that's seen this knows how legendary it is.

Evil Dead 2 is an OK Steelbook. Hoped for a lot better but has a cheap feel to it. The paint finish is poor and because of that is very prone to damage/scratches. One of the weaker Steelbook releases from the past few months from Zavvi.

This Evil Dead 2 steelbook is very well done. The finish of the cover art is a perfect illustration of the end of the film. It comes with a Blu-ray disc and a DVD of the film. The Blu-ray is packed with an awesome menu where Ash's possessed hand is moving around and you can here it plus with other sounds from the movie. It comes loaded with a lot of special features and the new documentary is very well made with awesome claymations at every chapter. A must buy for any fan or someone who is interested in buying it. You won't be disappointed.

Most will have already seen the movie, so there is no need to comment on that. The Evil Dead 2 - Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook itself looks better than I thought it would do. The bonus material is very solid as well. Overall there is probably nothing new for the Hardcore Evil Dead Fan (not that I was expecting anything new), nonetheless it's a nice collectible and I'm glad this one is in my collection.

I've been waiting for a Special Edition of some sort of what could well be one of the greatest cult horror/action/ridiculous movies of all time, and Evil Dead 2 - Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook tied it up for me. The Steelbook is lovely to look at, with the iconic picture of Ash adorning the front. And if that wasn't enough chin for you, there's another on the back as well! I was happy to find out that this not only has the Blu-Ray version with all the extra features you could want, but it has the DVD version you can lend to a friend so they can appreciate all the awesome too! Groovy.

Perhaps the best film you will ever see. Sam Raimi second tour de force, adds a larger budget to what is in effect a remake of his legendary first film. The fact this is over 25 years old and is as popular as ever, shows it deserves it's cult status. A cool steelbook with all the special features from the recent special edition, this demands a purchase and repeat viewings. Enjoy.
