From The New York Times bestselling author Lee Child comes one of the most compelling heroes to step from novel to screen - ex-military investigator Jack Reacher (Tom Cruise). When a gunman takes five lives in what seems like an open and shut murder case, all evidence points to the suspect in custody. On interrogation, the suspect offers up a single note: "Get Jack Reacher!" So begins an extraordinary chase for the truth, pitting Reacher against an unexpected enemy with a skill for violence, a secret to keep and a target on Reacher's back. Written for the screen and directed by Christopher McQuarrie and produced by Tom Cruise, Don Granger, Paula Wagner and Gary Levinsohn, the film stars Tom Cruise, Rosamund Pike, Richard Jenkins, Werner Herzog, David Oyelowo and Robert Duvall.

Being a fan of Lee Child's Jack Reacher novels, I could not ignore this movie. It follows the story nicely, dropping some of less relevant detail but keeping the story intriguing and exciting. As much as I like Tom cruise movies, I'm still undecided as to whether he's pull's off the role of Jack Reacher, but I enjoyed this movie non-the-less. Rosamund Pike is truly stunning in this movie and it was also nice to see Robert Duvall make an appearance. I really hope they continue making more Reacher movie's in the future because there are so many fantastic novels that would make some great movies. I have all of the books, but It'd be nice to have all of the Blurays too.
Jack Reacher is a good film. The usual Cruise action with a decent plot. Worth a watch
website easy to use and navigate. Product received on time and well packaged. Would recommend
Jack Reacher is a very good film, it kept the wife awake and I enjoyed it myself. A good evenings entertainment, I would highly recommend it.
Having read many of the Jack Reacher books, I had reservations about watching the film, but it's fantastic! Whether you have read the books or not, this is a great film in its own right. I definately recommend!
Jack Reacher is based on the book 'One Shot' and the story is very good with all the small clues that Reacher uses to solve the crime. Don't let the book-related negatives put you off, as the film is a very good film in its own right. Lee child is a very good writer and this comes through in most of the film. So just sit back and enjoy the film for the entertainment and thoughtful storyline!
I didn't see this a the cinema but rented before buying the blu-ray. Never read the books but I really enjoyed the story and the way it was told. Tom Cruise is himself, so if you've seen Mission Impossible/Minority Report etc then you know what your going to get. Personally I generally really enjoy Tom Cruise in his 'secret agent badass' roles, he carries it off really well. Supporting actors also good for the most part, the 'main' villain is a bit of a anti-climax but the other antagonists make up for this. All in all, recommended.
Jack Reacher arrived on time, packaged correctly with excellent service.
Tom Cruise as Lee Child's iconic hero? I had my doubts as Child's description of Reacher has him as blonde and six foot. Cruise doesn't measure up in the character description but does on screen. Played with tongue firmly in his cheek, Cruise scores another hit coming off the back of Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol. The film left me hoping that this will turn into another Cruise series just like the MI franchise. It's worth a watch folks.
