Lets not beat around the bush. King Arthur as a movie leaves a lot to wish for. It takes many creative feedoms in regards to history and the acting is what one would consider cheesy. It's an action romp with a medieval backdrop. But, with all that said. This SteelBook is hands down one of the most amazing releases so far from Zavvi. Great color contrast and deep blacks. No expenses has been spared here and it's a tour de force in graphic design. As a collector this is a must have, no questions asked. The passion shines through and someone clearly loves this movie and poured their heart and soul into this release. Simply outstanding.
This is an awesome looking Steel-book. Highly recommended to those Blu-ray collectors out there. It will fit perfectly on the shelf with your other collections. King Arthur and his knights are the best thing in this movie. The casting was good and their chemistry with one another was good and the fight scenes are relentlessly well choreograph. Someone Loved this movie to have put so much heart into the steelbook, because it is An Amazing Steelbook colour wise? The crimson cloak flying in the air embossed!, the Sword with such detail also embossed, CRUSADER) the lettering in the mood of the rest I pre mentioned. One compliments the other, the shield on the rear with the Dragon in the centre, Also embossed. The film is not brilliant but the Steelbook Makes up for anything. Nice one truly Bravo collector's item no doubt.
This is a beautiful steelbook with art that goes all around, unlike many other steelbooks and the colours are graet. The movie itself, here presented in it's Directo's Cut version, is entertaining enough, but is not fit for any historical analasys or long-time poundering. Judge it by how much entertainment you got from it while watching it, not huw imporbable or illogical it will seem some time after.
