Definitive remastered collection.

This really is the definitive remastered version of all 6 movies in the Middle Earth collection. Most noticeable on the LOTR trilogy is the improvement to the picture as they have got rid of the bluey-green hue that was used originally. Picture is stunning on all movies, colours are crisp and sharp. Box set is nice but nothing flash, although the individual disc-cases have been given new artwork which is a nice touch. Slip case is a little flimsy but is protects the box which is useful so it serves a purpose. Plus you get 30 discs so you can't really ask for more! My one deducted star is due to the fact it has now been mixed in Dolby True HD rather than the original DTS HD Master which in my opinion was far better, but overall it is still a good mix just not as good. All in all well worth getting for any LOTR & Hobbit fan.
