John Rambo (Stallone) has been leading a quiet life in Thailand until he is asked to ferry a group of missionaries into war-torn Burma. When they are captured, Rambo teams up with a rag tag regiment of mercenaries and heads back into the jungle on a rescue mission that will force him to return to the battlefield with explosively violent consequences. As always great product from Zavvi never had a bad buy yet and I have been with them for donkeys years !!
I highly recommend Rambo to any action fan. Stallone shows that he can both direct and act, and the result is a hardcore action movie thats not afraid of going all out. Expect a high body count, very graphic violence, and an atmosphere that no other Rambo movie has. The story isnt all that great. It works, but wont win any Oscars. Then again, once the action starts going, its all good. If you are a fan of action movies, you have to see this one.
I bought the box set and loved them ! yes id seen them all before a while back, but you forget how good these films are, the action in this movie is awsome. I love the way he stalks his prey. When I upgraded to blu-ray i just had to have this movie and im so glad i doubled up as the difference is deffinately noticable and increases even more your viewing pleasure.
