I'm new to the world of Takeshi Kitano, as I've heard lots of things about him from my friend. I decided to buy this set to introduce myself to his films and see what he's all about. It's safe to say that I most definitely am not dissapointed with the set in slightest. The transfers are all excellent, and the films are absolutely brilliant, sonatine being my favourite of the three. I've always been a fan of world cinema, so this set was great for me as I continue on my journey to delve deeper into the realms of foreign language films, and those of Kitano in particular. I own a fair amount of bfi releases now and they are all fantastic, never had a bad product from them yet. Highly recommend this to anyone who truly loves world cinema!
