The movies are brilliant, the blu Ray really enhances the details and colouring. The box set comes in a compact style box with the movies boxes been slum. With makes more room for other movie collections. Would recommend to anyone especially superhero lovers and at a brilliant price.
What is there to say? 7 movies in one box at a good price speaks for itself. If you liked the X-Men movies, have a look at this collection. One thing I didn't know: The last film is included on both Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D!
Got the box set mainly for my son Joe. Hes a big X-Men fan-especially the movies. I was brought up on the original Marvel comics from the sixties and seventies so was a bit dubiuos of the movie version at first but have to say they have done a stunning job. All the way through you get the parable of people fighting for civil rights and justice just like the comics. Its good because it instils those beliefs in us all which can only be for the good. Overall from X-MEN to LAST STAND to DAYS OF FUTURE PAST you are held glued to your seat wondering where it is all going to go. The Wolverine films are amazingly filmed and feel you with heart-break and terror at the inhuman workings of governments and their corrupt power. Almost a parallel of real life in some ways. Overall I recommend this box set very highly indeed.
Bought this dvd box set as my partner loves the movies and I myself love them too. A brilliant superhero movie. Plus the price was an absolute steal. Well done to zavvi! A+ from me.
Great box set. Bought it cos I thought a nostalgic look back at early marvel movies would be nice. Forgot that these movies, even the one with Deadpool, are actually pretty good and far more watchable than some critics have suggested.
Really great set of films, a collection of an era of filmmaking that began the age of superhero movie fame. Hugh Jackman and co. were the original Marvel icons in film, and they’re all now in glorious HD! Really good pricing on Zavvi too, yay!
Nice set of DVD's it's a shame that the enclosed UV download details do not work as they are out of date.
Although not all great films (some belters though), the box set is gorgeous and a steal for the price.
