Let me catch my breath...
"Grimm" is a thrilling, suspense filled, humoristic and a bit romantic television series for adventurelovers of all ages. It's taken the beloved fairytales of not only the Brothers Grimm, but various sources and authors and given it a modern twist adding the popular crime aspect to it. We follow the police detective Nick Burkhardt in his endeavours to navigate between a domestic life, being a cop and finding out/adapting to his status as the mythological being "Grimm" - a hunter of fairytale creatures, who live among us as ordinary people with friends, family, jobs and the works. But it's not only the lead character that carries this series - without the likes of Monroe, Wu, Hank, Rosalee, Juliette or bud (to name my favourites) the series would propably have suffered a "run of the mill" supernatural crime series aspect where the good guys wear white hats and the bad guys are ugly beasties to be dealt with swiftly. The series is a joyride and it'll leave you out of breath and wanting more... I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes crime series where the focus are on the characters and not just the heinous act of the week and fantasy.
