Genuinely funny. The humour reaches all ages and is timeless. Everyone either knows or suspect they know someone who is either exactly like Hyacinth or has some of her affected snobbish traits. This box set has all the episodes and Christmas specials. It is great viewing for any family gathering - even gentle granny or grumpy granddad won't fail to laugh out loud at the antics. Every house should have this set for a grey day or a duvet day.
It's a very fun show that just kept getting better as it progressed. Well worth the purchase.

Years ago I watched this in public television in USA. When I discovered it was on sale her I ordered a box. For my surprise I still laughing like I did when I first watched it years ago. It came faster than what I thought in great condition. excellent choice.

Unfortunately this particular dvd from UK is incompatible with American dvd players. Playback is prohibited due to out of region restrictions. Not able to enjoy this wonderful British comedy of the 1970's.
