A Puzzle With Anouther Dimension

Imagine being able to change from a 3D world to a 2D world at the touch of a button… Reinvented for the Nintendo 3DS, CRUSH3D is the unique platform game that gives you the ability to change perspective from 2D to 3D as you try to solve brain-teasing puzzles.

CRUSH3D tells the story of Danny, an inquisitive character who volunteers to test his friend’s amazing C.R.U.S.H. machine. This weird invention gives him amazing powers to explore his own dreams and fears, however, the machine soon becomes so attached to Danny, it traps him in his own subconscious.

Now Danny needs your skills to help him escape. Packed with the best gameplay from the original CRUSH game plus a whole host of exciting new 3D features, CRUSH3D takes platform gaming to a level that’s as hard to put down, as it is to escape from…

The ‘CRUSH’ Mechanic: Navigate across the endless platforms of Danny’s mind by ‘crushing’ your way from a 2-dimensional world to a 3-dimensional world and back again whenever you need to.

Discover how ‘crushing’ takes you to impossible heights, over insurmountable obstacles, and even disposes of dangerous enemies.

Dozens Of Levels: Over 50 levels of mind stretching puzzles spread across four stunning environments, each recreating a specific aspect of Danny’s inner world.

Collect and Unlock: Collect all marbles and memories in each level to obtain exclusive art and costumes. Grab trophies to unlock a special challenge mode that lets you play levels with limited time and crushes available.

Never Be Stuck: Get to grips with the game via an all new tutorial and hint system that help you learn the ropes of CRUSH3D and reveals hints whenever you’re stuck in a level.

Streetpass: Use the groundbreaking Streetpass functionality to exchange gifts with your friends and earn Gift Points to unlock more exclusive bonuses.

great little puzzle game

Total :

CRUSH3D is a great little title, the 3D is awesome and the puzzles can be challenging. It's a bit on the short side but it's a must have for a few quid.

Do you have logic and 3D imagination? CRUSH3D (3DS) is for you. It's a good game with interesting usage of 3D functionality. You switch between 3D and 2D worlds and find a path to exit. The rules are easy, but the game is not easy in later levels.

I'm not impressed with CRUSH3D. Every level is basically the same and more thought is needed than just collecting marbles.

Challenging but annoying

It is quite nice to be able to play a puzzle that uses 3D to a good effect, most of the time it's just for show. Here you can actual switch from 3D to 2D, another twist that only adds to it's charm. This is where the problems start. Maybe I'm too long in the tooth, I've played a similar game demo recently, from the eShop, for something similar but that was to do with flipping. I just found myself not being able to remember how I completed the puzzle, I had previously played the demo for this title. Then when I did, how I did it didn't make sense to me. I am early on in the game so don't dismiss it that easy. If you don't like Sudoku, then this will be great for you - then again I find Sudoku frustrating too.

Nice puzzle 3D experience

SEGA seems to maintain their talent in making good games. CRUSH3D has nice music, good visuals and smart puzzle levels, despite that more elements of complexity could have been added.
