Well, not bad at all
Really. Critics didn't make justice to this game. Sure, the camera is a pain (like in almost all modern games, at some point), and sure, it has bugs, but I think that doesn't diminish the experience that much. So far, the history is really not that interesting, and it's hard to love this characters. But for fans of the mechanic from mass effect to metal gear, this should be a fun game to play, and at this price, it's just a great opportunity for hours of fun gameplay. Maybe it won't be your favourite game, that's for sure, but it's not a bad game, and it was mistreated by the press and part of the user rather unfairly. Give it a try.

Great game, underrated
Great game, truly underrated. Story is simply amazing as for the characters' personalities. Mike to me was a great hero, combining crazy action and vulgar humour: A lot of effort was put into developing this game, i just think that a bit more time and i would have been a real MASTERPIECE. Anyway, one of my favorites game of 2010, no doubt about it.

Cheap for a reason
There are only a few games I was not able to finish due to their quality. Alpha Protocol is one of them. It's not the worst game I've tried (Clive Barker's Jericho was even worse), but I wouldn't play it unless I don't have any other games. The worst part for me is the animations since I work in 3D gaming business. They are horrible. AI is rather stupid as well. Some boss fights are too hard - especially if you compare them to dealing with numerous "simple" enemies at one. I'm sure that this is one of those games "not for everyone". Someone will find this game good if not great. I'm not among these people - that's for sure.

Unusual but VERY good
There are too many good games out at the moment, its a joke! But that is no reason to leave this behind, its kinda like James Bond meets Mass Effect. I'm on my second playthrough, and doing it all completely differently this time. GREAT stuff. Hopefully there will be a sequel

Really great
This is a really hardcore RPG that Sega have tried to sell to console gamers, and I am not surprised that they haven't taken to it. It's one for those who like to get really deep into a game, rather than just look for simple cheap thrills. It's awesome and I can't get off it.
