NBA 2K15

the graphics have improved from 2k14 which looked like a beta version. the gameplay is more fluid but sacrificing defense over offense showcasing but overall there's no competition over the past few years but yet they never rested on their laurels. well done 2K!

NBA 2K series has long been my first choice (for a few years it was the only game on the market) for basketball games. This years installment doesn't disappoint as well. The gameplay AI has been revamped and is in the best shape of the series history. If you want to play with the Spus like coach Pop intended, then this is the first year you can actually do it. The other thing that gets my praise is the MyGM and MyCareer modes, that also have seen vast changes and you get lost in there for hours. And as usual, 2K has improved the visuals year by year to make the game look even better. Even though this years changes haven't been so mind blowing, they are still noticeable and make the game run more smoothly. So to sum up, if you're looking for the basketball game to play either on the new gen consoles, pc or your old PS3, then NBA 2K15 is the right way to go.

To put it simply, the best just got better! In terms of gameplay on the court, the changes are noticable, but not that huge. A large amount of new animations makes the players feel more unique and real. Size-ups and new dribbles also bring in a lot of new tools on the offensive end. Pounding the boards is a bit more predictable and a lot more stat dependant, so you won't have a 7 foot center lose a loose ball to a point guard. It's also easier to set up plays and general playstiles with 2ksmartplay and points of emphasis. Regarding the modes, theres almost too much to do. The mycareer is simply fantastic. Best career mode I've ever seen in a sports game. Myteam is insanely fun, but can be a cheesefest online. I haven't had the chance to play a league online but the sliders and tools are downright insane. MyGM is also fantastic, but my time with it was brief. All in all, best sports game ever! Some improvements over 2k14 aren't visible at first, and some issues remain, but this is so much more than a roster update. Must-have for any fan of the game of hoops.
