Batman Begins
Directed by Christopher Nolan, Batman Begins (2005) rebooted the popular DC Comics franchise for the big screen, presenting a more grounded take on the superhero genre. Actor Christian Bale took on the role of Bruce Wayne as the young hero embarked on a journey to conquer his fear and avenge the deaths of his parents, Thomas (Linus Roache) and Martha (Sara Stewart).
A son of Gotham's elite, Bruce has access to all manner of advanced technology. After he returns from training abroad with the League Of Shadows, one of his first priorities is paying a visit to Wayne Enterprises' research-and-development division. Here he meets Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman), who provides the inquisitive billionaire with a variety of gadgets, including his famous gold-lined utility belt.
Using these tools, Bruce develops his hero persona - the Batman - and sets out to rid the streets of crime. His first foray into the world of vigilantism puts him in contention with two new villains: the Scarecrow (Cillian Murphy) and Ra's al Ghul (Liam Neeson).

Stylish and subtle
I bought this as a birthday present for my son, was a bit worried in case it was garish and oversized but it is actually very subtly designed and stylish. Watch face is a little small but is perfectly readable and suits the styling of the watch. Comes in a nice box. Very pleased so far.

a WATCHful guardian
I was gifted the bronze version of this watch for Christmas, and it was a great treat. Despite having quite a small face this watch is definitely an eyegrabbing piece excellent for any Batman fan who wants a piece of subtle geekery in their outfit. The watch comes in a strong plastic box which looks excellent and really protects the watch within. The watch is nice and weighty, although comes with quite a large bracelet which (as mine did) will likely need altering to fit. But this is certainly a lovely time piece, and worth the money.

Not great
The design is beautiful, the quality is great but the watch is just way too small and the clock face is barely readable. It needs to be double the size for it to be worth the value based on other watches out there. To top off my disappointment my case came scuffed so that combined with the above meant that I have returned my purchase.

A bit disappointed
The watch is so small it’s unbelievable. The limited edition numbering is a printed label applied to the back of the watch and mine is largely unreadable as some of the lettering has come off. Not my finest hour purchasing this child’s watch.

Must have for any Batman fan
I absolutely love this watch, it’s a must have for any fan of the dark knight movies, it’s ideal for any collector, but if you intend to wear it you may need to get some of the links removed as it can be a bit loose, it has some weight to it and it’s sturdily made and it suits any fashion, and looks great when being worn. The box it comes in looks great also.
