Season 1
The Emmy Award-winning comedy series Arrested Development revolves around Michael Bluth (Jason Bateman), the "normal" one in a family of crazies, who is forced to run the family real estate business after his father, George Bluth Sr. (Jeffrey Tambor), is sent to prison for shifty accounting practices. While George Sr. spends his time in the slammer discovering Judaism and recording inspirational tapes, it's Michael who has to pick up the pieces and try to teach his offbeat family how to live without an endless expense account.
Season 2
In the hilarious, award-winning second Season, Michael Bluth decides to make a break from his dysfunctional family and packs up his car and son George-Michael and heads for Arizona. But he's soon pulled over by the police who inform him that his father, George Sr., has broken out of prison. Due to the family company's shady dealings with Iraq, Michael could face prison himself, so he returns home to clear his name.
Season 3

Reluctant to spring Oscar due to the effect it may have on the family business. Michael decides that the only fair thing to do is to find his father and place him under house arrest. Yet once found, George Sr. insists he was tricked into working with Iraqis, leaving Michael no choice but to investigate his father's outrageous claim. but it isn't until Michael and Buster go to Iraq on a rescue mission to save Gob that the depth of the devious plot is revealed - and Michael learns which family member is the real brains behind all the madness.

Arrested Development Box Set
What else can be said about Arrested Development? Unless you haven't seen it, in which case you must see it! Clever scripts, an excellent ensemble cast and despite seeing them more than once. I still catch lines that I hadn't picked up on before.

One of the best tv shows. Ever. Like so many others it was cut short way too soon by people who don't know a good thing when they've got it. Laugh out loud funny every single episode. And this continues on re-watches because there are just so many jokes and plot details that you miss and then realise watching again. Intricate, intelligent and hysterical tv. BUY IT

THE BEST COMEDY EVER?
What can you say about a show which came out of nowhere to launch the careers of several of it's stars. Arrested Development is probably the funniest sitcom America has produced - we should be cursing they beat us to it. A film is currently in production so buy this now and get acquainted with the ridiculous Bluth family. Jason Bateman is terrific as Michael, Michael Cera perfected his nerdy teen routine here as his son George Michael. Will Arnett and David Cross steal the show as magician Gob and repressed gay man Tobias but really every character offers something here! If you haven't seen this show then settle down to a real treat and develop your arresting interest!
