Driver (Ryan Gosling) spends his days on movie sets, not as an actor, but a stunt driver. To be a stunt driver you have to possess a very special set of skills, acquired over a long time. You have to have a live free or die hard attitude and you have to be willing to put your life on the line. Driver has all of these skills. But he also has something that other stuntmen don’t, a second life.

By day he is a stunt driver for the stars of Hollywood, by night, he is a getaway driver. Not just any getaway driver, the best there is. But Driver’s life soon starts to dramatically spin out of control when a seemingly easy job goes awry and his life is put in great danger.

Shot in the style of such film noir classics as Taxi Driver, Thief and To Live and Die in L.A but still remaining true to modern cinema, Drive is a crime thriller packed with dazzling action sequences, intense car chases and stylish dialogue. (Matt Fairfield)
