Spielberg is a master serving his apprenticeship under Lucas he will struggle to make a more beautiful movie. I have revisited it in recent times introducing my youngster to it and I would definately recomend others to do the same. How soon we forget about it with so many animated childrens films these days. But non have yet to beat the magic and charm of little Elliot and his bond with the E.T its emotional and heart warming and will be at the top of Hollywoods great films list for a very very long time.
