It's the bally ballyness of it all that makes it all seem so bally bally
The show does not have to do too much on its own, to make you fall off your chair, other than follow the script. P G Wodehouse is brilliantly hillarious. There is never a time that is sad enough when he cannot make you smile, atleast. Coupled that with Hugh Laurie's performance, everybody's extremely english accent, and the frequent trips that Bertie and Jeeves take to the countryside and you have a show that makes for a perfect evening in bed with a hot cup of cocoa! The line that I have used as the title of this is a part of the dialogue in the show between Bertie and Jeeves.
