I was very impressed with this although I wish that they could have explained in more details when characters left. It ended far too soon and they could have got another series out of it. Left a lot of unanswered questions. Did Annie end up with Adam Did the traitor Doctor ever get found out...Did Billy come home from the war. Did Esther's husband survive the POW camp. lots of things unanswered. The acting was good and I loved the character of Esther, very realistic.
A good buy at a very competitive price and well worth watching.
Complete set of Land Girls DVDs at a great price, coupled with quick delivery. What more can you say, things can't get any better.
My Grandmother enjoys this series so I do not regret buying this for her to watch. She genuinely enjoys the lifestyle of the characters and the English scenery (which she misses since moving to Australia). This is purely for people over say 55 in my opinion.
