It does'nt really matter that this film is in French and is sub titled, your soon lost in the gripping world that is the legend " Jacques Mesrine ". The film it's self is a gangster fans classic ! Shot brilliantly its stylish but not too flashy. It's ability to switch from normality to explosive violence within a split second keeps you on the edge of your seat. It's like a cross channel Scarface. Over all ...très très bon ! a must watch.

...but won't be because it's French. This is an amazing film that was cut into two parts at the cinema but am presuming is all in the one set for Blu Ray and DVD. Mesrine tells the story of the infamous real life French gangster who led a Bonnie and Clyde style existence. It doesn't shirk on the violence and features an incredible performance from Vincent Cassell which just radiates menace.
