What A Lovely War features a stellar cast that includes Laurence Olivier, Ralph Richardson, John Mills, John Gielgud, Maggie Smith, Vanessa Redgrave, Ian Holm, Dirk Bogarde and Susannah York. Good quality product. A classic satire of the management of WWI by Richard Attenborough from the stage show. Pre-Monty Python but with some surreal sections. Thoughtful and making a point.
