You Must Watch This

I am an avid Robert Pattinson fan, he’s adorable, so went to see this film on that basis alone – it could have been a horrendous film but luckily for me, it wasn’t. The film was very touching, all the cast, including my lovely RP, were great and I hadn’t expected the film to finish like it did, I had tears rolling down my cheeks for some time afterwards. I’ve now watched the film several times over and the end still has me sobbing like a baby. Would I recommend it … you bet I would.

Not What I expected at all

I was pleasantly surprised by this film, my wife is a big Robert Pattinson fan, I am not, so I grudgingly went along to the cinema. Its a well crafted film, and you really feel for the characters. Their acting is fantastic, and you really feel their pain. Robert Pattinson, has shown he can act, and he may actually go far. The story is the only real let down, and its almost like a stone hanging around the neck of the characters, ultimately the ending is a bit silly, but other than that its a great film, well worth watching.

Remember to watch this!

See the rebellious side to Robert Pattinson as he ditches the role of vampire Edward and transforms into Tyler! This is not your typical love story so be prepared for twists in the plot where the characters emotions are put to the test. The end of the film is guaranteed to pull on heartstrings so don't be surprised if a little tear escapes! This is one of this year's must watch movies so I would recommend you grab a copy, whatever your age or gender, and snuggle up on the sofa for an enjoyable evening.

Remember Me

Like a wet rag that had been wrung out, left to dry then soaked again I left the cinema in reflective silence with an angry husband. He had wanted to leave half way through the film as he found the characters too soul-searching and depressing. I, on the other hand, got caught up in the relationships and looked forward to a happy ending. Perhaps I should have left when my husband gave the nudge. I am glad that I didn’t though scenes from Remember Me will haunt me for years to come.

Remember Me

It's hard not to approach this film with preconceptions because of RPatz, but if you can look beyond that and give this film a chance on it's own merits it is actually quite good. It's a slow burn where not a lot happens until an ending that comes straight out of left field and literally takes your breath away. Your basic dysfunctional family with a "hero" in Rob who meets a girl falls for her for the wrong reason and then really does fall for her whilst fighting his egomanically challenged dad (Pierce Brosnan) to care about his little sister. Queue lots of teen angst and hair flicking from Rob but overall he proves he can act in this role and I quickly forgot that this was Edward Cullen and took to him as Tyler. Worth watching if you're a fan or not and certainly a film that you will find yourself remembering a few days later.
