Stephenie Meyer’s literary skills have been brought to the big screen once again in the third film from the Twilight Saga; Eclipse. Bella is approaching her graduation and her life by now has been filled with excitement and romance, and she is certainly no stranger to dangerous situations and fighting for her life. In Eclipse, Bella surrounded by danger and Seattle is ravaged by mysterious killings. On top of that Bella has to be very careful as a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge.
Bella has an important decision to make, her choice will affect the rest of her life; does she choose her love for Edward? Or will she choose the ever faithful Jacob? ...and with either choice what will it mean for the constant struggle between vampire and werewolf?
Whatever Bella does, she had better think long and hard about it in this romantic struggle that has had the nation divided by the power of a good love story.

One of my favourite films to date. Lots of action, great acting, and a fantastic plot! If you haven't seen any of the saga i reccomend you go out and buy them NOW! Especially this one, it does not dissapoint! This film plays out just like the book. And newcomer Xaiver Samuel does an amazing job in his portrayal of 'Riley' a newborn vampire, turned by bad vamp 'Victoria'. This film is much darker than the other two. I think even if you haven't seen the others you could still grasp the plot and enjoy it just as well. Overall rating: 5 stars! Can't reccomend this film enough!

For me Eclipse has to be the best movie adaption of the books so far. Eclipse features something for everyone; lust, love, action, gore and fit men. The characters are all brought to the forefront in this film, we learn new things about each character and they all develop new layers and depths. It's brilliant to see the characters of Edward and Jacob working together to protect Bella when you can see so much that they have conflicting interests. It's an excellent film with a great storyline and great acting. I have already seen it 12 times make sure you see it too.

As a massive fan of the Twilight Saga, I was in my local cinema to see this at midnight of the opening day and it was totally worth it. Eclipse is action packed and humourously clever yet still manages to give fans of the famous romance that they need and want. The acting (and wigs!) get better with every movie as the cast gets to grips with their characters, whilst the action sequences are fast paced and set to a great soundtrack. The chemistry between Kristen and Rob vs Kristen and Taylor is really highlighted in Eclipse, with all 3 bouncing off each other (not literally guys, this is only a 12!) in the tent scene which is probably a highlight of the movie for anyone who has read the book. Now the story has been set and characters introduced with Twilight and New Moon, we are really moving on with the saga and Eclipse just grabs you by the neck and by the end you won't be able to wait for next November! Even my long suffering boyfriend enjoyed this one!

In my opinion this is the best yet, however that isn't a compliment. The acting is better in this movie and the lines less cheesy, and the flow of the scenes works better and more fluently, and I know it is a big book to fit into one movie but there seems to be a huge amount of dialogue and i did find myself wanting to switch off at times! That being said the ending was good, leaving the expected cliffhanger making fans eager for the next release. Overall, i'd say fans will probably enjoy, and it sticks quite closely to the book, but I wouldn't want to watch again!

I was so disappointed with this film and just found it boring. I was expecting an action film, but this is more of a love story, which is great if thats what you want.

The saga rumbles on with Bella and Edward back together but firmly in Charlies bad books and Jacob's come to that. With yet more mortal danger for the simpering Bella it comes down to a vampire/ werewolf pact to protect her and a who's hotter chest off in a tent on an icy mountain. The final fight scene is less action packed than it should have been but the vampire flash backs with Jasper and Rosalie were well done and added to the narrative. The 2 lovers continue to sizzle and Jacob is definately less annoying in the films than in the books. A good watch for any fans of the story or the 2 hunky males leads and a must see if you have watched the other films. The first Twilight film remains the best, though am still looking forward to the final instalment. Bring on breaking dawn!

If you love the twilight books you won't be disappointed in this next part of the saga. The actors have slipped back into their roles and give their best performances yet. Robert Pattinson makes a great Edward ....you can't help but feel his passion. Leaves you wanting more...

What a great film, Stephenie meyers imagination is imense. I think the film was really good from the graphics to the characters definately the best actors/actresses for the job. The love between Kristen Stuart and Robert Pattinson on screen couldnt have felt any more real and as for the battle scenes how excited did you feel?Im a huge fan of the books and its always a difficult job to portray what you read and put it on screen but what a great job they have done Bravo.

Eclipse continues R-Patz and K-Stew's epic journey and battle in a world where vampires and werewolves co-exist among humans. The special effects are amazing, especially the wolf scenes. The story carries on where New Moon left off.Eclipse see's the bond between Bella and Edward intensify as Bella's feeling towards Jacob become confused. With Bella's graduation rapidly aproaching, she is keen for Edward to turn her into a vampire so she can be forever young with him.Edward is keen on putting this off as long as possible and even goes as far as proposing to Bella. Victoria's vendetta against Bella is a key theme, she sets about creating a gang of new-born vampires to cause havoc to Seattle. This draws attention from the ever watchful vampire hierachy-the Volturi, who decide to intervene. This episode of the saga brings much more action and adventure to a well written script.
