Dishonored

Nice game. Cool story, some of mystics/magic. Dishonored has a lot of weapons. Many ways for hidden path. It is too hard to call it stealth but it is too easy for a shooter. Better game of 2012, but not the best game I've played. Waiting for Thief.

Dishonoured

Another excellent title release from Bethesda Studios! Dishonored combines the expected RPG elements that we have already seen in Fallout and Skyrim with new espionage gameplay. You can sneak/run your way past all enemies or bring utter chaos leaving a body trail behind you. There are unique special abilities that enhance your ability to sneak or take down enemies as well as weapons reminiscent of bioshock (although there are limited weapons for disabling enemies). Combine this with the engaging storyline and characters and I would recommend Dishonored to anyone.

Dishonored review

Excellent game, one of the best stealth games I've ever played. A masterpiece.

not so well

i found the game too easy, annoying try and error, and the whole system didn't work out well. not totally bad but, for me, disappointing.

Dishonored

Dishonored was an enjoyable game, a good sneaking game, good assasination game, a good adventure game... no matter how you play it, it's good. The fact that the sneaking was easy, mostly because of the supernatural power wasn't a bad thing, it's what made things intresting, opened up some new opportunities. I never tried to look for the fastest way to get to the objective, I always wanted to take a detour, because there was so much more in the world than just guards and bad people you'll have to kill, you actually can see the other people that are suffering because of them. Also the world is absolutely beautiful, although for the most of the time it just felt like a steampunked City 17, which isnt a bad thing.

Amazing.

This game is brilliant. It has everything - from action based gameplay to stealth. From sword fighting to shooting to magic. Dishonored lets you pick your own style to complete the game. It has a HUGE amount of possibilities to move on with the level. You can do almost everything. The magics add a whole new level to the game, too. If you are thinking whether or not to buy the game, you definitely should.

A game for all playing styles

Really enjoyed playing this game, bit of a twist to the FPS-ish genre. You choose to play with mercy or full blown kill'em all as well as how 'visible' you prefer to be. Skulk around in the corners waiting for the perfect moment to pounce or run in with guns blazing and sword drawn. Whichever style you choose affects the gameplay and final outcome so choose wisely or simply repeat the game to try different scenarios. You can also enhance Corvo with specific weapons/upgrades or magical items/abilities to suit your style. I personally had more fun playing it the second time around just because there are so many paths to take and different choices to be made. Well worth the money in replay value alone.

The Stealth Is Strong With This One

My god this is my game of the year 2012. The stealth aspect of this game is purely amazing. If you don't like being stealthy you can go full psycho on everyone and not leave anyone in sight. But there are so many ways to complete this game. I recommend it to anyone.

Dishonored

Dishonored was one of the only so-called 'AAA' games I was looking forward to this year. It was definitely worth the wait! The stealth mechanics were much more in depth than other recent titles- I myself was surprised by how well they implemented it. While the story itself isn't that great (your standard story of redemption with a little twist near the end) it fit well within the atmosphere of the game. While some people may find the campaign rather short (it took me just under 10 hours) and therefore think the game lacks quantity, I can assure you that the quality makes up for this. A good buy for stealth fans.
