Assassins Creed 2 is a great game. Really good. A little short for my taste, and the DLCs aren't as good as the main story, but it is worth the money (especially on such a great zavvi price).

Assassin's Creed 2 Game of the Year Edition
Assassin's Creed 2 is a sequel to Assassin's Creed. Following Desmond Miles, we find out about the Templars plans in the 17th century(could be 18th not sure about that) and we follow his ancestor Ezio Auditore da Firenze (meaning from Florence) to his unravelling the conspiracies that were going on at the time. The Game of the Year Edition is superior in a way to the original one, mostly due to the fact that there are two sequences that are missing from the original Assassin's Creed 2 game. The sequences themselves, were however in the PC version of the game. All in all, if you liked the first Assassin's Creed game you will like this one more with its riddles and all.

Great game
This is a very nice continuation of Assassin's Creed even though it is about this new main character called Ezio Auditore Da Firenze. This game tells the story of the younger years of Ezio in Florence and a couple of other cities. As part of a great game series this is a must have.

It's the best game I've played so far for PS3. I enjoyed every second of the game, Story Mode is long and interesting. Worth every pound, I recommend this to anyone wondering whether to buy the game or not. Believe me, you will enjoy every minute of it. Once I started playing I could not stop. I played the game a whole month, almost every day and I am addicted. Like I said, the Story Mode is very interesting and the graphics are excellent. In short, I recommend you buy the game!

Assassin's Creed II is a historical third-person action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal. It is the second video game installment of the Assassin's Creed series, and is a sequel to the 2007 video game Assassin's Creed. The game was released for video game consoles in November 2009, and for Windows in March 2010. Its direct sequel, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, was released in November 2010. The frame story is set in the 21st century, with player-controlled Desmond Miles escaping from Abstergo Industries with an employee, Lucy Stillman, after being forced to relive the genetic memories of ancestral assassin Altaïr ibn La-Ahad through a machine known as the "Animus". After escaping from Abstergo, Desmond enters a device which is more advanced than the original Animus, the Animus 2.0, and relives the genetic memories of ancestral nobleman Ezio Auditore da Firenze, who lived during the Renaissance period of the late 15th century in Italy. The player controls Ezio, who becomes an Assassin after his father and brothers are murdered by a traitor to their family. While controlling Ezio, the player can explore game renditions of Italian cities, regions, and landmarks in open world gameplay. All Ezio wants is revenge but realises hes in for something bigger, the prophit.

Great, but repetitive
Taking the innovative gameplay of the previous title, Aassin's Creed 2 managed to become a great playable experience, worth delving into. A gripping storyline, an amazing soundtrack, believable dialogues, great Italian cities, and the new-age trend of parkour, blend together to create an epic title, that moved on with Assasin's Creed: Brotherhood. However, all is not without a cost. Assasin's Creed 2 suffers from the same problem that greatly ravaged the first Assasin's Creed - missions that repeat themselves and have only one outcome: An assassination. If you can ignore the soon-to-become-boring simplicity of such tasks, the game will reward you, and you will keep asking for more, which Brotherhood can surely deliver.

Amazing
This is an amazing game. The first one was epic, and AC2 improves on that in every way. There's now a huge varitey of new weapons, the area you can explore is much bigger, and they've added in new aspects, like the RPG-style villa, where you can upgrade parts of a town like shops and prisons to create more income and more money for you. It's simple but fun. The free-running is as easy to pick up as ever, and now even more fluid. In all, this is an excellent game, which improves on the first, and will go down as one of the greatest PS3 games ever.

A Bargain
This is my first PS3 game and for under a tenner you cannot really get much better. The graphics are amazing and detailed, the gameplay is smooth and the controls easy. The DLC is okay, its just 3 more tomb puzzles but still a nice extra. UPlay; Ubisoft's in-game achievement system has some nice extras for you to download, including a PS3 Theme. Back to the game itself and I have played it 100% taking me around 35-40 hours which is great for a game. The combat is fun with nice action camera for those counter-kills, and there is lots of weapons to choose from, I reccommend this game to anyone who has a spare tenner and wants a new game.

Much better than the original
This is bargain price for one of the best games of last year. It improves in pretty much every way from the original and makes playing the game fun and not really repetitive. There are also lots of side missions and things to collect and buy which gives you a lot more stuff to do which adds a lot of play time. I would recommend this game.

Great game! Especially at this price
This is maybe one of the best games for PS3. Everyone who owns this console has to play this game! Gorgeous graphics, thrilling story, many side quests. The gameplay can take up to 50-60 hours if you play every mission, side-mission and you collect all the stuff in the game. And after that you still could play it once again! The free run is awesome and in this Italian atmosphere is just great! Now for this price, this game is total bargain! If you don't own it already, don't hesitate. Grab it!
