Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is great TPS. Story is rip-off of Indiana Jones movies, but what it's lacking in originality it compensate with great presentation. Main characters are also interesting, their lines delivered with great voice acting. Gameplay is divided in cover-based shootouts, platforming and puzzle solving, with the last one being too easy. Also this game boasts great art direction which results in great graphics with many beautiful scenes. Only negatives about this game will be sometimes odd hit detection, too easy puzzle segments and it's only about 8 hours long. But this only slightly affects overall great gaming experience. This game is a must-buy for any PS3 owner.
Having played Uncharted recently I wasn't as impressed with this game as I was with the sequel. Either way it was a good game and enjoyable to play. If you are a fan of the series this one will not disappoint you but it won't either impress you.
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune: Essentials is an okay game but not on par with what's to come.
