Halo 4: Red vs Blue: Remember to Not Forget Trailer
The game takes the series in an innovative new direction, and re-introduces the previous Spartan super soldier protagonist Master Chief (John-117) as Halo 4’s hero, along with his AI companion Cortana. We re-encounter the pair adrift on the wreckage of the UNSC frigate Forward Unto Dawn, near an unexplored Forerunner planet they will soon know as Requiem that plays home to deadly secrets. Halo 4 continues on from the aftermath of Halo 3, four years after the pair helped humanity achieve victory against the Covenant, after thirty years of seemingly never-ending warfare, but at a cost. Halo 4 dictates the results of how its prequel’s events unfolded, and allows for the conclusion of a 100,000 year story to take shape.
Halo 4 offers an immersive experience, with graphically and visually stunning environments just begging you to explore them, with the game’s graphic engine allowing for more detail and better lighting effects, showing improvements everywhere you look. Halo has also evolved in order to expand in both scope and scale, allowing for more discovery and mystery to be uncovered and found. Forerunner elements play a crucial part within the game, with humanity and the USNC finding their bearings and attempting to adjust to the galaxy now that they are no longer at war with the Covenant, and incorporating Forerunner technology into their new lifestyles.
The game also offers a wide range of artillery and armour, for example the next generation of Mjolnir Powered Assault Armour, GEN2. This high tech armour boasts technological and ad hoc modification systems, which alongside Armour Abilities, allows Tactical Packages and Support Upgrades, amongst various other enhancements. These enhancements permit you to improve, tailor, and personalise your actions and combat, and also guarantee that you are the most reinforced, and the most deadly out there in the field.
Halo Infinity Multiplayer has the incredible starship the UNSC Infinity as the hub for all of Halo 4’s innovative multiplayer challenges, where you can start and progress your very own custom Spartan-IV super soldier’s career. The campaign continues online, with the game modes War Games, which is competitive multiplayer battles that incorporate varied maps and modes, and Spartan Ops, which gives you weekly co-operative episodes from the Spartan Ops briefing room, which will give you five brand new co-operative missions. The multiplayer modes and campaign mode are linked, meaning that your progress and game choices will affect your appearance, arsenal, and role on the battlefield.
Experience Halo as you’ve never seen it before, as the franchise takes on a new direction with the beginning of the Reclaimer Trilogy, guaranteeing to give you the most evolved Halo gameplay to date. (Cat Emerson)

So this is IT - Halo 4. I just completed the singleplayer campaign, this game has a very exciting and emotional story, that's why Halo is much bigger (in my opinion) than CoD, BF and the rest of these 08/15 shooter games. The graphics may be the best you will ever see on XBox 360. I mean for real, is this console really 7 years old already? You will not believe that once you've tasted Halo 4. Not only the graphics have their pepp, but also the AI is very challenging. I've only completed few hours on multiplayer yet but I can promise you this: It's so much fun playing Halo 4 online. There are no lags at all and even though other players you are fighting against may have played Halo 4 since release, you will have a chance against them after a short time because the concept of Halo is easy to start with. I also recommend this game to you if it's your first FPS ever. A friend of mine visited me three days ago and after I showed Halo to this FPS-rookie he went to the next gamestore and right on this evening we were playing Halo 4 against each other online. So what is my resumee of Halo 4? It's one of the best games for XBox 360 for sure. It has amazing graphics, the story is superb and super exciting with emotional aspects that will let you beg for a sequel. The multiplayer is the biggest experience when you play Halo for the first time, the weapons are perfectly balancd and even rookies will have an easy access to the game - for some it may be just an FPS, for me it's the best shooter on XBox 360 and probably will be for a long time to come.

Medium low quality graphics, basic scenario, I never was a big fan of the halo franchise, which I played mostly for the vehicles and sci-fi genre. I waited for this one to be at a very low price before I bought it (thank you zavvi), and expected more of the same. Well, as soon as the game begins, I got hit pretty hard by the huge difference in the graphic quality compared to halo reach, which was the less ugly halo game so far. Halo 4, even if it might not compare to the best looking fps, does look great, really. the way the game feels gets you immediately inside the story, and makes you care, where all the previous halo games failed, halo 4 succeeds. easy to play, great ambiance, varied missions, lots of vehicles, plus a free to download spartan ops, which is like a second campaign paralleled with the main storyline. I might not be a fan of the halo series, but I am definitely a fan of halo 4. it is a must buy!

Played it on normal and heroic and loved it!! Very challenging and with very interesting plot!! Game play was little bit tricky in the beginning, maybe because this was my first halo and with overwhelmingly beautiful graphics! Only thing was little bit not at that high level was the duration of campaign which was about 11 hours do only basics and about 16 searching everywhere and find all secrets. Highly recommended for XBOX 360 and PlayStation fans!!! This is a must play game if you want to be considered serious gamer!!!!!

After completing Halo 4 I feel unusually compelled to write a review of this magnificent game. After completing Halo:Combat Evolved Anniversary and Halo 3 I watched Forward Unto Dawn which is far superior than usual game to film adaptations and was very entertaining. Events that transpire lead seamlessly to the beginning of Halo 4. Though featuring and initially concentrating upon other characters, Master Chief becomes a pivotal role. Within Halo 4 the fundamental character development resumes upon the unique relationship between Master Chief and Cortana which is expertly written and poses various questions about which entity is more human. As the game progresses this becomes captivating and incredibly moving. Throughout the campaign, constant action sequences are superbly entertaining and graphics are excellent, especially when focusing on facial design to convey emotion. Unfortunately I cannot comment on multiplayer as I favour story in game design rather than organised combat. This game has immediately become one of my favourites and having been a gamer for over 15 years it is refreshing to see such efforts made to enhance storytelling in what is essentially a FPS that exceeded boundaries with a deft feat of emotional resonance coupled with gripping action.
