    Trailer

    Description

The year is 2027. The world as we know it is unraveling after fifteen years of economic meltdown and widespread global conflict over dwindling natural resources.

A once proud America has fallen, her infrastructure shattered and military in disarray. Crippled by a devastating EMP strike, the USA is powerless to resist the ever expanding occupation of a savage, nuclear armed Greater Korean Republic.

Abandoned by her former allies, the United States is a bleak landscape of walled towns and abandoned suburbs. This is a police state where high school stadiums have become detention centers, and shopping malls shelter armored attack vehicles. A once-free people are now prisoners… or collaborators… or revolutionaries.

Join the Resistance, stand united and fight for freedom against an overwhelming military force in Homefront’s gripping single player campaign penned by John Milius (Apocalypse Now, Red Dawn). Stand alongside a cast of memorable characters as an emotional plot unfolds in this terrifyingly plausible near-future world. Experience visceral, cinematic first-person shooter action as you fight your way across Occupied USA using guerrilla tactics, and commandeer military vehicles and advanced drone technology to defeat the enemy.

Multiplayer brings epic warfare to the online arena as infantry, tanks, attack helicopters and combat drones battle across huge, open battlefields. A rich feature set offering layers of tactical depth combined with a game-changing innovation in the multiplayer space will set a new benchmark in online warfare.

    Features:

    • Discover a terrifyingly plausible near-future world – the familiar has become alien in this nightmare vision of Occupied USA.
    • Fight for a cause – join a cast of memorable characters as your resistance cell wages a guerrilla war against overwhelming military odds in the name of Freedom.

    Homefront

Homefront really surprised me. The story is very good, and you will definitely remember some scenes, due to how they're presented - in a very natural and drastic way, showing how bad the war can be, and is. The single player game-play and shooting is also great, and to be honest, from my point of view, the game as a whole, can compete with the Call of Duty series.

    Your own backyard

I love how this game displays scenery which is very similar to many European countries. It makes it easy to relate to how it would be to live in an occupied community with all the horrific graphics added to it. This is a very nice game it has a great flow and after you complete singleplayer you still have many, many hours to spend on multiplayer.

    Hit and very big miss

My thoughts in Homefront is that it start's off with ok story but as for the story mode is short but has good numbers of weapons to use but when it come's down to the big gun's you can only use them at points of the game when it makes, which can be annoying. Cutscenes are boring and I have nothing good to say about the AI on the game it's almost like the bad guys want to get shot. What save's the game is the online mode experience large scale multiplayer action and vehicle warfare.

    Homefront

The champaign of Homefront is rather short. It will take you around 6-7 hours to complete it. When you're a experienced player you will have no problem at all with the champaign mode. The story mode is not really outstanding or som, it's decent. The best part of Homefront is the Multiplayer. Even though you have the typical multiplayer modes you will definitely have alot of fun playing the multiplayer. With maps which can have about 32-players and the possibilty to use different vehicles, the multiplayer mode is one you should definitely experience.

    Good but could be better!

Better than average but very short, Homefront has a good story behind it but lacks the means to present it to players. 4 - 5 hours at the most in single player, multiplayer different than your average FPS so gives it a little depth. 3 stars but nothing more, sadly.
