Ride through the beautiful New Forest on this Introduction to Horse Riding for One. You don't need to have ridden before and it won't be long until you feel comfortable riding in the saddle. Once you've learnt the basics and know your horse, you can grip the reins and journey through the forest trail. You'll ride through plains and woods, and might even see ponies and deer on this exciting trek. On this unforgettable experience you'll learn how to ride a horse at a historic hunting ground.
The experience will take around 2 1/2 hours, with 2 hours spent in the saddle. Your experience will begin with a cup of tea, along with a greeting and safety briefing. Your instructor for the day will introduce you to your mount, get you settled on the horse and take you to the arena for a half hour riding session. Then you can set off and ride through the plains and woods, riding amid wild New Forest ponies and the wild deer grazing. This is the perfect way to experience the beautiful surroundings of the New Forest National Park. - A.D.

Important Information:
Your voucher is valid for 10 months for one person. This experience is not available on Mondays. The minimum age for this experience is nine years old and the maximum weight is 14 stone (89 kg). All participants must wear long trousers and shoes or boots with a small heel. Flat soled shoes or trainers are not suitable. This experience is available on weekend and selected dates all year round. Your hack will be at walking pace and will be suitable for beginners. The pace will not move to trotting until all riders are safe and capable of doing so. This experience is not suitable for those who wish to canter, gallop or jump their horse. Paces on hacks cannot be guaranteed, riders may be slowed if the safety of the ride is endangered by ground/weather conditions or the ability of riders. Please inform the supplier at the point of booking if the participant is disabled or has a medical condition. This experience is not suitable for pregnant women. Times may vary. All dates subject to availability.
