cheaply built and needs expensive batteries
The LED Bookbrite Reading Light is poorly made, and the plastic casing that holds the light is deformed. The 'clamping' to a book or other device is done by bending the rubber encased metal to a shape that hopefully holds. I don't know how many times it can be folded before it snaps. The light is OK. However, it is a bit dim, due to the plastic backside and the plastic cover, which is actually not clear. The biggest drawback is the need for two expensive batteries. This gadget is more of a throwaway item.
