Sixteen years ago in the small town of Riverton a serial killer struck and took the lives of seven innocent people. He swore that he would return to murder the seven children that were born the night of his killing spree but when he was allegedly put to rest, this threat soon became forgotten. Now sixteen years on and it’s the anniversary of these horrific murders and people are starting to disappear again and when a sixteen year old boy is found murdered the whole town slips into severe fear.
Adam "Bug" Heller (Max Theriot) is one the seven children born on that fateful night and has recently been plagued with nightmares of horrific visions of people being brutally murdered. Bug feels he has a connection with the killer and believes he can put a stop to his killings. As the nightmares become worse and more people start dying Bug starts to wonder whether the killer has come back to life or if his soul has entered the body of one of the teenagers.
