American Graffiti

As soon as I saw this was available I snaped it up. This is what really started it all for Lucas and I think still one of his best films as a director. Maybe New Hope just edging it. This really is a must for film fans, a lot of young actors making their debuts and just to look at this era with the sounds of the 60's and Wolfman Jack hauntingly floating in the background gives the film a visceral underpinning. A real gem of a film.

American Graffiti

A glorious steelbook for an amazing film. One of the best coming off age movies ever. The jump from teen to adulthood has never sounded better due to the brilliant soundtrack and now looked better due to the flawless 4k presentation. Everyone involved in this movie is on top form. Can't recommend this highly enough.

They don't make films like this any more. Good story, good actors and my kind of music. What an era to grow up in- First class film.

Weak list of extras.

This is a favourite film of mine, though I have not watch the 4K yet, but I am somewhat disappointed in the lack of "extras" for a Limited Edition and also a "50th Anniversary". Surely from a tribute to the Cindy Williams or Wolfman Jack to retrospective from the many stars who's career was launched by this film. Even a doc on the times and music of the era. Also the car that Candy Clark (in white dress) is standing in front of on the cover should have been a standard white 1958 Bel-Air (not Impala as some think) instead of what looks like a hot rod Ford. This film is still worth buying if you haven't already, can wait to see it in 4K.
