Zavvi - The Home of Pop Culture
Gotham City faces two monstrous criminal menaces: the bizarre, sinister Penguin (Danny DeVito) and the slinky, mysterious Catwoman (Michelle Pfeiffer). Can Batman (Michael Keaton) battle two formidable foes at once? Especially when one wants to be ayor and the other is romantically attracted to Gotham's hero? Like the 1989 ground-breaking original, Batman Returns is directed by the moviemaking wizard Tim Burton. And like the first blockbuster, it's a dazzling adventure that leaves you breathless.

Perfect!
Really nice packaging with cardboard sleeve. Picture quality is amazing and the movie looks like it was made this year.
Report this reviewGreatest batman movie
Still my favourite Batman movie to this day. The world that burton built here is simply magnificent.
Report this reviewAmazing Movie
In my opinion this is way better than the first batman and I love the gothic vibe to this film and Michelle Pfeiffer is my favourite Catwoman I love this film And it is very nostalgic.
Report this reviewIt starts to go wrong
After Batman Burton was given freer reign with the property. This was a mistake. Batman is sidelined by the villains, and what disappointing villains we get. Penguin is reduced to a vicious mutant freak, dribbling green saliva, flippers for hands and frankly portrayed as quite dim. Pfieffer does quite well as Catwoman, but it's a shame the material is so thin. Add to that the sets looking like cheap TV affairs and it all falls apart. As a disc it is well presented, great picture & sound.
Report this reviewA must have
Still the greatest batman film and the 4k release looks absolutely stunning.

The best batman film and also the a brilliant, sharp, detailed restoration/transfer. Very happy with my purchase.
Report this reviewBatman Returns
This is a truly stunning remastering. The colours really pop, with great definition and detail. Simply the best version of this movie. If you have the original version of this on bluray and are wondering if this is worth double dipping for, just dive in and buy it. The accompanying blu alone is a massive upgrade, the 4k is to die for. Go for it!
