It's very clear that a lot of work and dedication went into this restoration. The film has never looked better. Everything is presented with crystal clarity. Sometimes this means warts-and-all, but that's not a bad thing. You're seeing the film faithful to its source media, and sometimes that means a special effect or compositing artefact here and there, newly exposed by the increased visual fidelity. Again, that's not a bad thing. Everything else about the film is as it's always been. If you're a fan of the Queen infused hyper-reality of Flash Gordon, you will love this version. The only Improvement I would make is in the extras. It would have been good to have some more original extras created for this edition. That being said, the packaging and physical bells and whistles for this edition are all excellent for the collector.

Great release, the colours really pop with the UHD transfer Good special features as Life After Flash is a great documentary The only thing that lets this down is Zavvi’s lack of care for packaging, box was dented, which may not mean much to some but to others it means a lot and this is not a random occurrence when it comes to Zavvi and how they package items for postage, being one of the few sites who charge for postage would expect better packaging for items

Amazing product yes pricey but worth it for any collector, lots of extras on each of the many discs and collectable items too and it looks very cool, this is a classic movie and this is the way it should be added to your collection, plus I got it super fast too very happy once again I will be shopping here again :)

A wonderful box set for a classic movie. The extras are great, the mini book is a fun addition. One of the better 80's re-issues. The extras add to the appeal of this collectors set. And good value from Zavvi.

Wow! What a set, it's such a nice collectors item. Stacked with loads of extras and it looks fantastic in 4k, the colours really pop with the HDR. A classic film that gets a really nice presentation, definitely worth getting for the serious collector or Flash megafan.

A cult film finally in the package it deserves. Great transfer with amazing extras.
