We’ve entered a new era

The original Jurassic trilogy was great in every way, edge of your seat, fun and thrilling. Jurassic World: Dominion was a perfect end to such a fantastically thrilling Jurassic franchise. I LOVED the fact the three characters from the 1993 film were reunited for this outing. A great end to a great trilogy. The steelbook is beautifully designed and perfect to my Jurassic franchise collection. Again, reasonably priced so I can’t complain :-)

Jurassic World Dominion 4K Steelbook

Lovely Steelbook and I know it's not everyone's favourite to the trilogy, but I enjoyed it, especially the Extended Cut, which is a must, great price from Zavvi, definite pick up

Jungle Juice

I think this steelbook is an attractive addition to the collection and the use of the star raptors on the cover makes perfect sense, as they were always a bigger part of the JW series. A suitable finale!

Jurassic Generations collide

As someone who was there when the original Jurassic Park Debuted in Theaters 29 years ago it was great to see the original trio reunite and interact with the double-act of the Jurassic World Generation. The use of animatronics more over CG models was a welcomed change as the audiences' eye has become somewhat well trained to distinguish what is actually there physically and tangibly and what is a visual effect that's added in post-production. True. Visual FX have gotten more sophisticated and advanced from when Mr. Spielberg made the first Jurassic Park, but you know the actors' performances are more authentic when they're interacting with what's there and not using their imagination just to get their eye-line right. As a movie on it's own merits, I'd say it''s entertaining. But it does not hold a candle to the original Jurassic Park where story and the moral implications of Dinosaurs being back on Earth were at the forefront of the movie whereas the Jurassic Franchise has deviated into just being another stereotypical Hollywood Blockbuster where it's more about spectacle and less substance. If it had been any more cliche, Michael Bay would have directed this.... Is it the worst Jurassic Park movie? No. That dishonor still belongs to 2001's Jurassic Park 3. If this movie had focused more on dinosaurs being in on the mainlands of the Earth and less about the Locusts, then this movie would have been a lot better. The only times I saw this being more about Jurassic Park is when you see the interactions of Rexy with other dinosaurs and to her settling a prehistoric score. It's not the worst, but it could have been worse. A lot worse...

Steelbook good, film meh

First of all, I like the steelbook. Its nothing fancy but still looks good. The film however is by far the worst of the entire franchise. I wouldn't say I disliked it as I am a fan of the franchise, but I wouldn't say that it was particularly good either. It was great to see the original cast in the movies again, but even that just wasn't enough to save it.

Jurassic World Dominion

Really love these films and I never listen to what the critics say, so I found it as good as the others and great to see the original cast members back for one last hurrah!

The Finale

I know there are some mixed opinions over this film and I can see why, but I personally enjoyed it. This steelbook version is well presented and the artwork is really good. It will look good amongst my growing steelbook collection

A fitting finale

Best of the new lot, great everything, the only downside was the lack of chemistry between Dallas & Pratt, their performances are great until they involve any show of affection between their characters, which is unfortunately the only mar on this production. The entire crew & the actors should be very pleased with the results, it's a fitting end to the film's (so far, they may make more at a future date no matter what they say now) the case is a lovely design, but unfortunately doesn't fit with the cases for the two previous films Steelbook artwork, but I've already ordered the complete 6 film Steelbook box set with the matching artwork that Zavvi will release shortly, which will satisfy my need for a matching set. So, would have been a perfect buy apart from a couple of very short, odd scenes & the design not matching the previous steelbooks, though it's a lovely thing in & of itself, are the only things I can think to criticize about it. The return of the original cast is done beautifully, some great work from great actors & each gets to shine, some nice nods too the past as in when Malcolm does his shirt up in a reverse tribute to the endlessly meme'd pic of him reclining with nearly all his shirt buttons undone. Nicely balanced in all ways & especially with the balance of practical & digital effects.
