Taxi driver directed by Martin Scorsese starring Robert De Niro Harvey keitel and Jodie foster. The steel book is really nice with the original poster art on the cover. The movie is regarded as a classic now and rightly so. The performances from the entire cast is excellent.. The picture quality on this 4K is fantastic.. and has been restored in great detail. So for a movie that was made in the 70’s it’s very impressive. This is definitely worth adding to your film collection.

Classic film in a great 4k transfer and steelbook! What's not to like?

Top notch restoration. I own Taxi on DVD, Blu Ray and even already have a steelbook (also purchased from Zavvi!) which was the popart variety. It's an entire Taxi Driver collection at this point and this 4K steelbook might be the best one yet! At half price it was a steal.

All time classic. Glad to get the 4k steelbook collection and it doesn't disappoint. Delivered on time by Zavvi.

I will review the Steelbook itself (if your buying this, you've seen the film before and know its a stone cold classic!) I really like the style of art used to compose the main image on the front of the Steelbook, the back of it, is pretty standard image of Travis, would of liked more art in the style of the front! Minor nitpick! I was happy to add this to my collection.

The film needs no introduction - a classic 1970s film that is dark, fascinating and disturbing. Thankfully the 4k disc does this film justice, an amazing picture quality that renders all previous editions obsolete. It's perfect.

The packaging of this premium steelbook has a high gloss finish with soft variations between text and artwork. The actual film transfer is superb with plenty of natural grain. Sony have thankfully stopped using software to remove grain. Michael Chapman’s cinematography shines like never before. The reds and yellows pop! When talking about the soundtrack options we have the option of the original mono mix which is appreciated. However, the 5.1 mix is where the music score by Herrmann is best represented and my preference.

The Taxi Driver Steelbook is beautiful, from the cover art to the transfer itself. The film looks brand new, the neons, the smoke rising up from the New York sewers, pristine. The sound is incredible as well.  Personally, this is currently the definitive version of the Martin Scorsese classic. 

Arrived with a small dent , apparently I should not have unsealed it , hiw can anyone see a dent behind the j card if its sealed? Anyways, item arrived quickly and a nice steelbook ar a good price. The 4k transfer is outstanding.

Great edition of this classic film. Love the steelbook artwork as well.
