Still Only The Director’s Cut!
I must admit, that when Zavvi sent me the notification email about this release, I thought it looked like a very beautiful set with all its physical goodies included and then I saw that it’s only the awful director’s cut that’s only included. Why is the UK still only getting the terrible director’s cut with every release of this classic masterpiece?, the director’s cut strips the raw edge and removes certain lines that are deemed problematic for a modern audience. Thank goodness that I have the now out of print US Arrow collector's edition from a couple of years ago, that has both cuts in 4K and the theatrical version looks and sounds great. Plus the set has a ton of new features on disc, better than this sets same old disc features put out all the time. I think I’ll pick this set up when it’s half price just for the physical goodies.

No original theatrical version?!
Without the original theatrical version it’s a wasted release, does anyone like the cartoon directors cut? Such a shame because this is a good looking item but ultimately it’s the film we like.

If this contained both the theatrical and director's cuts in 4K, I would be going through checkout right now instead of writing this review.
