every thing you could ever need for a couple of hours entertainment. Blood sweat tears love hate , good story line, religion, several faiths , so a good all rounder.

Very nice 3 disc edition, contains a photo album and the directors agenda. It is also nice because on the 3rd disc is the original movie Ben Hur from 1925.

verything That's Good About Blu-Ray
I had seen small parts of this film before but never the whole thing. I am so glad I waited to see it on Blu-Ray. I own many Blu-Ray's, some remastered classic films and others brand new big budget CG heavy films but this is by far the best looking one I have seen. The chariot race that the film is famous for had my jaw on the floor, not just with how well it was shot but by how good it looked. For a film this old to look this good is a testament to how good Blu-ray can be. If you are thinking about showing off what a truly good HD movie can look like, go no further than this. The set itself is excellent, more extra's than you'll know what to do with including an entire extra film. The films story is excellent, I personally was worried when I saw the subtitle "A Story of the Christ" but thankfully those elements were kept mostly in the background. The real story focuses on the friendship turned rivalry between Charlton's Ben-Hur and Boyd's Messala. Its a pleasure to watch the story unfold over the years that the film goes through. The Oscar's can sometimes be looked down upon, especially recently but there is no doubt that the joint record 11 wins that Ben-Hur has was deserved. It stands as one of the greatest films of all time and is now one of the greatest Blu-Ray's of our time.

Ben Hur: Ultimate Collector's Edition
This product has excellent image defenicion uan well as the audio for me a punctuation of 10 out of 10. Also carries the audio in Castilian Spain, among others as well as subtitles. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in this product.

simply stunning
Some films not only stand the test of time but become part of a pantheon in the world of movies, worthy of its 11 deserved oscars. The story of an innocent man who is forced into slavery by his life long friend is powerful enough, but add the story of christ and the breathtaking chariot race and youll see why this film is so revered. THE bluray audio and visuals are 5* and the extras including the original 1925 version make this a highly recommended edition.

One of the best alltime costume classics.The cast is top notch.The roman scenery and costumes will dazzle your eyes.Never again will we se an action spectacle with so many extras again.The video quality on this bluray is extraordinary considering the movies age.The sound is crystal clear and the depth of the lfe amazing.This is a must have for all movie lovers.
