Great show
I saw American Utopia live on Broadway in NYC in January 2020, and all I could think of while watching it was what a shame it was that it wasn't being preserved or documented somehow, because I wanted to show it to others. Thank goodness for Spike Lee, who has done as good a job as possible capturing the magic of Byrne and his collaborators' beautiful work. It's not a substitute for the show -- nothing could be -- but for those who won't be able to get to New York to see it live when it returns at the end of the year, this is at least a solid glimpse of what makes it great.

Great picture and sound. David Byrne's music brings me so much joy and this film is a blast.
