Rewriting cannon DBZ back to it's best
DBZ Battle of Gods is Dragon ball back to it's best. Akira Toriyama has rewritten cannon and after GT left a sour taste in most fans throat. The new movies, including the Resurrection of F, due out summer '15, is helping a generation of fans of Goku and friends relive those exciting adventures. This film is a must watch for old and new fans of the anime alike.
Report this review5 stars from an avid fan
I've grown up watching Dragonball Z. Much like many of the people that still watch it today. This film felt like an up-to-date, fresh approach to the familiar stories that I was used to as a child. Beerus is an incredible character, by far, one of the most likeable and down to earth villains ever on the show. The story was exciting, unpredictable in places and there were good jokes throughout. If you're a fan of the series then you have no reason to not buy this. If you're not a fan yet then I suggest going back through the Dragonball Z collection before watching this as it will make the film a much better watch.
