Brilliant re imagining
Ive never seen the true original evangelion but this one is amazing

Glad it was re-released
If you're an Evangelion fan, this film and film series is certainly worth the watch. I'd been hoping for this film to come out on BluRay again for some time and im glad it was re-released. Immediately had to buy it as soon as i saw it.

Excellent start
Please note that the cover art being shown on this website at the time of writing is not what you will receive. This is disappointing and has not been corrected despite my messages to the staff. The movie itself if fantastic. It gives Evangelion the update that it deserves. The use of CG blended fairly well, in fact much better compared some of the poorer efforts I have seen in other feature films. The story sets up nicely going into the second movie which i recommend you buy too!

Outstanding
I was really skeptical about a "reboot" of this Evangelion 1.11 Youre Not Alone Special Edition (which is in my opinion one of the top 5 ever), but the work was amazing. Plus the video quality of the Blu-Ray is really awesome. I recommend that!

This Bluray its just what its says it is. Nothing fancy on the outside but the movie... oh god, the movie. You MUST see it for yourself. Higly recommended product. BUY NOW.

As good as ever ?
A great movie that retells the cult story of Evangelion. It will please the fans but will the newcomers understand what fascinated so many people 13 years ago with this condensed version of the original?

Must Watch Anime
The Evangelion series are one of the best sci-fi/mecha anime up until today. The movies are a faithful remake of the original series: Neon Genesis Evangelion. So far we have two movies(Evangelion 1.11 and Evangelion 2.22), and a third movie has also been announced. Evangelion 1.11 is the first movie. It has a very interesting plot, as well as, many amazing battles. Add these to the superior quality of the Blu-ray, and you won't be disappointed. All in all, if you asked me which anime to watch, and you were a sci-fi fan, I would recommend it without second thought.
